IZIGI ZENDODA

Izigi Zendoda is a traditional Maskandi dance group lead by Vincent Sithole (left) who orinates from Kwa-Zulu Natal midlands Escourt. They have toured Switzerland, Germany and Australia together with the legend bab' Phuzekhemisi. Izigi Zendoda released their first album titled 'Induku' in 2014, featuring the current hits Umakhelwane and Izinkomo Zabantu. A seven music video track DVD comprised of Induku songs is currently in stores together with his album.

With a generous influence of mam Busi Mhlongo, Salif Keita, Fela Kuti, Baaba Maal, bab Phuz'ekhemisi, Mfaz Omnyama, Lucky Dube and Angelique Kidjo during his musical up bringing. A frequent dance to the struggle beat and Demors' fatherly guidance, Jahdu tangles traditional and urban dance house with a pinch of salt. His single 'Haybo' is followed by his project 'Kings and Queens' mid September, featuring bab' Phuzekhemisi, Demor, Mbali Maphumulo, Mesh Sarila and many more incomparable vocalists. Jahdu deejays throughout the countries commercial and coperate gigs.
SAKHILE MFUPHI

A gem in Tradional Maskandi hails from the rocky rural Nongoma in KZN. Loved for being one of the few, and currently the only one knowm to play Mfaz' Omnyama guitar strings in the genre fratenity, he's adored for his major contribution of not only being a vocal artist but a guitarist of whom many including the King (Mfaz Omnyama) himself admired and acknowedged this exceptional talent. Forced to leave home at an age of 14 , he came to Johanneburg with only his guitar and change in his back pocket. He joined DMP as one of the first traditional artists, and has since worked himself up from the turbulant streets of Yeoville, to best Maskandi nomination for the MTN SAMA awards, as well as the best new comer nomination for the Amantshontsho kaMaskandi awards amongst numerous air plays and newspaper reviews. He's latest single 'Bayangigawula' features Amagcokama, who currently stear the direction of youth Maskandi. His Latest project, also titled Bayang'gawula will be in stores July 1st.
ZANELE LOBISHE

From rural Eastern Cape Kwa-Zakhele Zanele Lobishe, started her musical journey in the church youth choir. Since young age she not only lead her peers at church gatherings, but she was corner stone to claiming a series of musical contests around the country.
